Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Growing Cannabis can be a daunting and complicated task. Be sure to have a read through of the FAQs below to make sure you don't miss anything.

Q. Where are you based?

A. We operate exclusively via our online store, and do not offer collections. We ship nationwide for a flat rate of R200, so our location is not relevant.

Q. How long will my clones take to arrive?

A. If you ordered from the 'Ready to ship' section, they will be shipped on the nearest Monday or Tuesday and will arrive within 2-3 business days. If you ordered from the Pre-Order section, they will take 2 weeks to root, climatise and ship, again, on the nearest Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Q. I see some strains that I want are out of stock. Will they be back, and when?

A. We cut as often as we can in order to keep the website populated, but we do sell tons of clones and sometimes that leaves some out of stock. Don't be afraid to use the 'notify me' tool on the strain you want, and you will get an email as soon as we upload more available stock. If a strain is on our website (In or Out of stock) it means it will come back at some point. Any strains we retire, we completely remove from the site itself.

Q. How do I know my shipment is safe?

A. Your parcel is discreetly packaged, and should there be any issues in transit, we replace your order as soon as possible.

Q. Do you sell Cannabis bud?

A. We do not, we only sell the Cannabis plants, in clone form, for you to grow your own.

Q. Do you sell Indoor & Outdoor Clones?

A. This depends on where you grow them! All our clones grow well in either Greenhouse, Outdoor, or Indoor setups. The choice is ultimately yours.

Q. My clones have arrived, what do I do?

A. Familiarise yourself with growing using resources like growweedeasy.com. Be aware that your plant/s will need supplemental light hours in order to stay in the Vegetative stage, and avoid going into flower too soon. Do not put them into direct sunlight until you notice them starting to grow in size. They need to get their roots deep in order to handle the full sun.

Q. They look a little droopy? Are they ok?

A. Yes, what can happen in transit is that your plants go through drastic environmental changes (As well as having a bumpy ride) and this can leave them looking a bit sad, but this is normal. Plant them, give them a bit of water and they should perk up after a day or so acclimating to your environment.

Q. I bought a strain from you ages ago, if I buy the same strain again now, will it be identical?

A. Yes! We make sure not to use different phenos of the same strain, to make sure you know what you are getting. Even if a friend has shown you a strain they grew from us, and you like it, if it's available on our site, it will be the same genetic phenotype.

Q. Do you sell Autoflowering clones?

A. No. Technically you can clone autos, but it won't stop the clones from flowering at the same expected time as the mother they were cloned from. This is why we clone photoperiod plants, as we (and you) can keep them in the vegetative state as long as we like.

Q. Do you breed your clones?

A. We have a breeding partnership with Spectrum Genetics, but we also source and maintain a selective variety from multiple local and international breeders to give you access to a wide range of Strains.

Q. How do I know your clones are good?

A. Our pheno selection process is very strict, delicate & time consuming. We will grow out seeds for selection, and should a pheno tick all the boxes (Look, Smell, Density, Easy To Grow, Yield, Potency, Smokes Well, Resistance to Pests/Disease), then we will grow it again, but with 9 together instead of one. If they perform well together, we will the grow them out and stress test them (Temperature fluctuations, PH fluctuation, mechanical damage, long flowering) to see if they show any signs of battling with stress. If they prove themselves as strong, then we will make it available to the public to purchase.

Q. Do you sell strains from other Clone suppliers?

A. Although we would be entitled to buy a product and resell it, we do not sell clones hunted by our competitors. We believe our clones have an advantage over those of our competitors. We also know and understand our genetics better than anyone else's, and in general, our pheno selection criteria are consistent with our brand which are superior genetics to others available. We pheno hunt our mothers either from seed, or if we get gifted a strain from a close friend.

Q. Where can I buy supplies to grow my clones?

A. You can get all of your grow supplies from our shop partner; GrowFolk.
